Hi! My name is Anna (AJ) Malonson, and I recently graduated with a BAA in Fashion Design and Merchandising with a Minor in Marketing with a Logistics focus at Central Michigan University. I am now on the path to earning an Accelerated Master of Science in Apparel Product Development.

I’m drawn to fashion as a way to care for people through design. My professional interests lie in functional and adaptive apparel and material-driven solutions that support comfort, movement, and personality. I’m especially interested in how technical problem-solving can coexist within the creative space. Through my work, I explore the full product lifecycle from concept and development to consumer experience. My goal is to create garments that feel intentional and deeply human.

 I currently reside in the Downriver Detroit area. 

Some of my favorite hobbies are running marathons, skateboarding, painting, and scoping out cool places within the city.
