Summer Internship at Metropolitan Museum of Design Detroit

This is the official end of my summer internship with the Metropolitan Museum of Design Detroit! This experience has been very rewarding in regard to connecting with my peers and mentors! MM-O-DD provided me with plenty of opportunities to not only learn about the childrenswear industry, customer base, and how to operate a small clothing business, but also help design patterns and fits, and reaffirm my love within the artist community. I am very grateful for my experience this summer!

My first day on the internship was helping with the Wolfganggang & Co launch Party and its advertisements! I did merchandise stocking and replenishment, registering people for rewards, and checking out people's purchases.
We also did content for the company's Instagram and website and secured a edia interview for press on the brand.

DRINKS X DESIGN Belle Isle

Our team at MM-O-DD went to the Drinks by Design event in Belle Isle, where we presented our presentation of one of our pillars: Biomimicry. It was a fun and successful event and we were able to reach a larger community and spread the word about the museum

Wolfganggang & Co

During my internship with Wolfganggang & Co., I worked on designing and developing a Men's and Children's jacket for the brand. This involved collaborating with the design team to conceptualize the jacket’s style and target audience appeal. I contributed to fabric selection, color palettes, and concept. Additionally, I assisted in prototyping and refining the design to ensure quality and fit with the brands counterculture aesthetic. This experience allowed me to use my creativity, teamwork, and understanding of the fashion production process.
